I found this $178 melon at the Takashimaya food market.

While I am down for eating great fruit, I wonder if a simple melon can really be worth $178.

I’m sure that demand and supply theory breaks here because the supply of melons isn’t exactly dwindling in the world.

Unless Singaporeans really demand expensive fruit?
