At 39°C with a humidex or “feels like” temperature of 44°C, this is the hottest place in the world I have been.
Sure, it is a far cry from the hottest place in the world but it was enough to cause the power consumption in Thailand to hit record highs seven times already this year.
I suppose my room, cooled to 20°C contributed to the statistics.
Stepping outside even in the night, I am already pouring with sweat.
My body quickly adapted by sleeping in the day and only coming out at night to forage for food.
