Gallop or Graze in the Chinese New Year of the Horse 2014

Chinese New Year 2014 - Year of the Horse!

Happy Year of the Horse!

I hope you’re off to a great start out the gates of this Chinese New Year. There will be decisions along the course as you gallop through this year. I assembled this guide to help you stay on track.

The horse is revered for its stamina and speed. Thus, you can expect to get to your goals faster this year than normal. That being said, you will need to muster every ounce of stamina you can to get there faster. Even a race horse has to run a marathon sometime.

If you live simply, grazing in the fields, you’re more likely to discover that beautiful cowboy or cowgirl who will ride you into the sunset.

Choose wisely, the path to love.

If you choose to pull a chariot or take the fastest race track, you will live in luxury but you will get whipped by your master and made to run ever faster – for their benefit. If you live simply, grazing in the fields, you’re more likely to discover that beautiful cowboy or cowgirl who will ride you into the sunset.

If you are born in the year of a wooden horse, this is your year. Lots of opportunity to use your wood and ride like the horse you were born to be.

Be wary of who you deal with in business.

This is the year of the wooden horse. You never know what lurks inside the wooden horse. It could be filled with candy, like a  pinata, or filled with evil out to get you after it gets its foot in the door. Remember what happened to Troy! (If you’re still thinking about your wood, use trojan. Reduce the risk.)

That being said, if you are a wooden horse, don’t play with fire. You are most likely to end up a pile of smouldering ash.

This is an easy year for friendship and family, but keep up.

Horses run together in the wild. Enjoy the breeze and your wild side. Graze on the grass and gallop away with your friends and family. But do keep up with the pack. If you stray too far, you risk getting by any lions hiding in the bushes.

Cash in on your stars.

If you read until here, you probably realized this was a satirical take on a horoscope. Hope you enjoyed the read! 🙂
