Teh tarik. The waiter asked if I wanted it with ice, and gave me two cubes of ice on the side. Weird.

Teh tarik, literally translates to pulled tea.

You can see the people at the mamak (Indian-Muslim) coffee shop pour this tea into a cup from high above, causing bubbles to form in the process.

The aeration and spices in the tea make this both a local and tourist favourite.
